Exposed side braces and gable brace not only add structural stability but also enhance the rustic appearance of the design.
Alpine Cottage sheds can be used for a lot more than just a storage building. It is a great base for a workshop, home office, studio, or even a small cabin. Thanks to its rustic design, Alpine Cottage shed is a perfect option for creating a cozy retreat in the woods, where you can enjoy the simple charm of cabin living.
How to choose shed colors?
Carefully selecting colors for your shed can dramatically enhance its appearance. Cherokee Structures offers numerous beautiful color combinations to ensure your shed complements your style perfectly. You’ll need to consider the main color, trim color, roof color, and accent color. For more details about our paint options check out this blog post.
Main color: This is the dominant color of the shed’s siding. Choose lighter colors for an airy look, or darker tones for elegance and contrast. You can choose between a paint or urethane coating. Both are high quality low maintenance options.
Trim color: Select from all the paint colors. This is the color that offsets the main color. It is always an option to match the main color and accent the main color with an accent color on the doors or shutters.
Roof Color: A very common strategy to integrate your roof color into the design is to match the trim color to the roof color. It is also an opportunity to offset some colors. Contrast can add visual interest but the roof color should generally not stand out and call attention to itself.
Accent Color: This color can be skipped in many cases to avoid making a busy looking design. Don’t underestimate the power of this extra color though. It can make your project stand out from the rest. Select any of our standard paint or urethane colors for your doors or shutters.
